If there is time for research, I deal with the archaeology of the western Slavs (8th-12th century AD), especially with the rampart of Starigard/Oldenburg in Schleswig-Holstein. In addition, I am interested in the development of a limnic cultural landscape. In doing so, I change my perspective and look at the development of the cultural landscape from a position in the water, i.e. on the basis of cultural relics in lakes and rivers.
